Enlightenment Program
Enlightenment Program – for the disabled
The Enlightenment Program for disabled youth aims at empowering children and young adults with disabilities. We provide opportunities for youth to communicate, interact, and develop life skills, arts and crafts, and coping strategies.
We offer a range of complementary programs and services to support our work with disabled youth. These include behavioral interventionist, special education workshops, recreation and leisure programs, music and art therapy, support groups for parents and caregivers, and advocacy and policy programs.
Our programs and services are designed to provide holistic and comprehensive support to our community members with disabilities, promoting inclusivity and empowerment. We are dedicated to helping our participants achieve their personal goals and gain self-empowerment and independence, while also providing support and resources to their families and caregivers.

We would like to acknowledge and give respect to the Indigenous peoples of British Columbia, including the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities, who have lived on these lands for thousands of years. We recognize the rich cultural heritage and deep spiritual connections they have with the land, water, and all living things. We pay homage to the Indigenous peoples' sovereignty and the treaties they have made with the Crown, and we commit to building relationships based on respect, understanding, and reconciliation.
